Working draft pending the owner’s legal review before production launch.
This policy explains what Golfer9 collects when you use this site, why, and the choices you have. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.
What we collect and why
Analytics. Aggregate page views and usage patterns, so we know what readers value. Analytics data is not used to identify individuals.
Forms. When you contact the desk, submit an event, post a job or subscribe to the newsletter, we receive what you type: typically your name, email address and message. We use it to answer you and to deliver what you asked for, and for nothing else.
Cookies. The site sets the technical cookies it needs to function, and analytics cookies where enabled. You can block cookies in your browser and the site will still work.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal data. We do not share your details with advertisers. Commercial partners never receive subscriber lists.
Newsletter emails go only to people who subscribed, and every email carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Requests via the contact page; we respond within 30 days.
Retention and security
Form submissions are kept only as long as they are useful for the purpose you sent them, then deleted. Access to stored data is limited to the people who run the site.
Changes
