    How long should my article be?

    Between 700 and 1,600 words depending on format. Each format above carries a suggested range.

    Do I keep the rights to my work?

    You keep your expertise and can reference the piece anywhere. Golfer9 holds publication rights to the edited article, per the terms of use.

    Will you edit my piece?

    Yes. Every piece gets a desk edit for clarity, style and accuracy, and you approve the final version before it runs.

    How long until it is published?

    Pitches get a reply within a week. Accepted drafts are typically reviewed within seven to ten days, then scheduled.

    Is it paid?

    Contributions are unpaid unless agreed in writing beforehand. Most contributors write for the byline, the audience and the author page.
